Matthew Blum

Sarazen Flight

Matthew Blum is in his 4th season competing on the Golf Channel Am Tour.  He has competed in numerous events each year and has played in events on a handful of different tours every year.  In 5 early season events that he has competed in, Matthew has won the Cleveland Tour Opening Event at Sawmill Creek and finished 2nd in the Pittsburgh Tour Opener at Olde Stonewall.  This allowed Matthew to start the season on top of the Callaway Order of Merit.  A position that he hopes he can keep throughout the season as he was the 2009 Hogan Flight Callaway Order of Merit winner on the Cleveland Tour.

TPC Sawgrass- Stadium Course

Matthew had qualified and played in the 2010 Golf Channel AM Tour National Championship which was hosted by TPC Sawgrass.  He fell in love with the Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass where he had once dreamed about playing.  He fulfilled his dream of playing the historic and challenging 17th hole where he hit the green in regulation and made par.  This course will be extra special to him as he is signed up to play in this years TPC Sawgrass Major which will be conducted on his birthday.
